Prime-Air Tornado 8 and 12

Light weight yet ruggedly built, Prime-Air Tornado electric blowers provide up to 3,000 CFM free air delivery for ventilation of tanks, manholes, process vessels and similar confined spaces, as well as for cooling/drying applications.

When fitted with optional inlet duct adapters, the Tornado's high static pressure capability makes these units ideal for exhaust applications. Single and dual adapters are available. The dual adapter is used with two exhaust ducts for removing welding fumes or toxic vapors from two locations at once. Electric motor powered, these lightweight units are easily transported from job site to job site.

Tornado blowers with Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled (TEFC) motors come in three sizes, 8, 12, and 16”. Model 8 is powered by 3/4HP motor, Model 12 by a 1 HP motor, and Model 16 by a 2 HP motor. TORNADO 8, 12, and 16 TEFC units are furnished with a surface mounted Motor On/Off switch, with a 6’ cord with grounded wire plug connection.

Tornado blowers with Explosion Proof (XP) motors are supplied with an explosion proof motor and switch (NEMA Class 1, Div 1, Group D). These units are suited for use in hazardous locations and are available in the same size/HP as the TEFC units. NOTE: Cord and plug not supplied by Prime-Air.
